Hotel

Thats been my experience as well AB....I do it for two reasons, one, on general principles...one never knows do one? might be able to help someone...and two, I guess theres other ways to do it, but signing up gets me the countdown clock...and AUNTIE, I do my best work talking to meself....you should hear the arguments, I win them all... bwahahahahha

I talk to myself a lot on the roll calls! But I'm ever hopeful that I will get a response. If not, oh well!

Yeah, the last few I joined, I was the only poster until about a week before the sail date. There was something like 85 people on one roll call, and not one other person commented. Made me wonder why most of them even bother to sign up.

How much more accurate can you get than what ABLEMAN or AUNTIE suggested, complete with names of motels/shuttleservices..? The ROLL CALLS in here are notorious for non-responsiveness.

You'd get a much more accurate response by posting in your Roll Call.

Finding a hotel that offers both transportation options can be challenging. Although I believe there are a couple out there (or at least there used to) most now only offer airport shuttles and work with with outside vendors for cruise port shuttle services.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port and used Howards Transportation for hotel to ship-to airport. No issues.

Not sure why my response was deleted (perhaps I put too much detail into it and broke one of the guiselines). Anyway, we stayed at Best Western Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port last year and they had a pay for shuttle service to the cruise port. Since it was a year ago, not sure if it's still available or the current cost.
