Holy Smoke, 32 million per year, no wonder FDR jacking rates

Well, maybe we been too harsh on poor old FDR. After all he is just a pi—an- when compared to those who wouldn’t even let him in their neighborhood.
For instance---
“At a recent event, Janet Gornick was greeted with disbelief when she mentioned in passing that the top 25 hedge fund managers make an average of $850 million a year. But her number was correct.
One survey found that Americans, on average, think that corporate C.E.O.s are paid about 30 times as much as ordinary workers, which hasn’t been true since the 1970s. These days the ratio is more like 300 to 1.”
That IS really gross, even Arnold Donald, who is in charge of way more brands, only took home $9 million that year (and I don't say only as though that's not an exorbitant amount of money cuz it is!) I wonder how much they make now?
There is something really wrong in the NCLH structure if their CEO is making over 3x more than the CEO of Carnival Corporation. They really could filter a lot of that cash down to tons of other hard-working employees.
Unfortunately, for those of us addicted to this particular luxury, it would be a Phyrric victory (sic)..theres always about a dozen taking your place..it would leave you on the moral high ground alright...high and dry...
true that it may only be a moral victory if I am the only one to vote, but at least I will sail on a different line with a warm fuzzy feeling. To me, it is worth it.
Of course, I may also take to social media to express my opinion, for what little that is worth.
(Please forgive any typos - my thumbs are bigger than the phone buttons)
And this .... is how one gets to own a private cruise ship ;)
It is Fairly disgusting. They could cut his pay down to $1,000,000(which is still obscene) and give every one of their 3200 employees a $9600 pay raise...
The only way to affect the CEOs salary is to vote with your wallet. When cruising gets too expensive I will find another. Mode of vacation. (Just not flying through Dallas)

NOBODY is worth that much...not that it matters to the shareholders...as long as it goes up. they're happy...
Wow. Are they worth this much?
Looks like I picked the wrong profession... being a duchess at a renaissance festival might pay for the beer he spills on a given weekend.
