Hmmm ... should I dare to differ? ... do I care to differ? ... do I have a flair to differ? ... or do I possess the air to differ? These are the questions.

Thank you for your Live Experience and comments.

It's been created for the Passengers to enjoy Safe Place to Enjoy Good Clean Fun & It's very SAFE TOO.

I have been there no less than five times I 2022 & I will be going not less than five times in 2023.

This video, from Harr Travel(I'm not affiliated), is probably the most comprehensive source of information for CocoCay. Far better than anything the cruiseline has put out.

I am a huge fan, and cannot wait to go again

I always feel uncomfortable walking in the straw market.

It should be "Dare" to differ :)

Lynn is in a funny mood today

I beg to differ. Many private islands are owned by the cruise line, mostly the older ones. The newer ones are mostly leased and or partnered.

NCL built the first private island in the Caribbean. According to Wiki, "Great Stirrup Cay is a 268-acre island that is part of the Berry Islands in the Bahamas. Norwegian Cruise Line purchased the island from the Belcher Oil Company in 1977 and developed it into a private island for their cruise ship passengers"

There are several Pvt Islands some lines share an Island.

All Islands are owned & governed by Grand Bahamas.

None are owned by any Cruise Line.

Thanks for you input.

I've actually been there several times since the rebuild. What's not pictured on there is the 7 private beaches (free), the wave pool (extra charge), "Up Up And Away" (hot air balloon, extra charge), the zipline (extra charge), the cabanas (there's several throughout the island, all extra charge), and the waterpark (extra charge). There's also a free tram to take you back and forth to the ship.

Oh and there's a Straw Market.

Yes Auntie..... fun in the Sun :)
