Have you made any lifelong friends on a cruise?

I hear stories about people finding fun cruisers on their voyages and they go on to become great friends and book cruises together in the future! Have you found any cruisers that went on to become close friends?

Unfortunately, all my cruise 'close friends' seem to disappear after a few post-cruise emails. Still, nice memories. Who knows what cabin door the next cruise will open.

we have vacationed with a couple of them a few time.
