Hello everyone,
this morning I decided to check out what’s going on with my cruise friends. I a currently in NC at an amazing weight loss clinic. I’m doing well, and I’ll be here til the end of April. In June we will be in Costa Rica for a few days ( not by cruise ).

Been home a week now, well Saturday was a week. Lost a total of 24.4 lbs. lost a couple of more since coming home. Still a long way from surgery weight, but I’ll get there

In the meantime, I’m in my room watching YouTube, about a diner in South Jersey that makes these obscene sandwiches with Taylor Ham . Pork roll to everyone outside of north jersey. I think I just put on 5 pounds and wasted a stent.
I seem to gain weight just walking by the desserts on any cruise ship. The commercials about food are the worst, because you don't even get to smell the calories before they jump on you!

Came here January 15, and as of today 2/21 I am down 18 pounds. I’d like to think I’m preparing for my next buffet, but I’m not.
Now that I think of it, how long til the cruise lines do away with buffets, except maybe a grand breakfast buffet ?

Definite possibility. They might also start a base fare which includes your 3 squares at the MDR and for a daily fee allow a buffet or additional meals. Of course this would be shooting themselves in the foot but ... you never know
