I wouldn't depend on their emails reaching out and touching those affected...

That’s why we got the letter. Our cruise is 16 days long!

Ah..............now I understand.

NAH AP...I reread the notice on a couple different places...you're fine....it isn't the "second" booster they mean. just the first one. so if you have 3 shots, you're fine.........and it only applies on cruises of a certain length....besides they wouldn't DARE....and AB...I think you missed my point bout what can be "combined" with that inhaled vaccine stuff...just to make it a more enjoyable experience....hehehehe

We got the letter. We have one booster. The second booster was authorized, for us, with too short of a time prior to the cruise to have it within the 14 days. I'll let you know if we get rejected at boarding.

IDK.......... I just read that the combo vaccine could cover all the flu and Covid variants, but they were also looking to see if they could expand that profile. Who knows, maybe some day they'll be able to add some juice that will protect against the Zika and Rhinoviruses too.

No idea when it'll come out though. I don't mean to sound morbid, but I'm at that age where I wonder if I'll see certain things in my lifetime. However, Covid fast tracked and jump started a lot of medical research that'll probably lead to some breakthroughs sooner than later.

I like the inhaled version.........just what can be combined?????

Yep.... combo flu, Covid, and whatever else may come down the pike. I also had read that "shots" may soon be a thing of the past. They're working to replace injected vaccines with an inhaled version. Apparently it's a more efficient mode of delivery to the system (according to the research). So they would be able to administer a much smaller dose to achieve the same level of protection, which would lower production costs (in theory). That would also be great for the "I hate needles" crowd.

Our booster technically wears off in 2 weeks (got it almost 6 months ago) and my wife and I are considering another at the end of this month. Or we too may wait until the fall.

You beat me to it....agree completely. We're waiting to get our 2nd booster until AUG/SEPT...the thing seems to be more virulent in the winter, and the boosters seem to wear off...so somewhere out there we get our flu shots...isn't somebody working on a "combo shot"???

Probably not ... I suspect this will become much like the flu .. yearly booster for the flavour of the year and hope they guessed right

I hope we don't have to continue to get poked in order to keep cruising We are now up to a 4th dose will it ever end?
