Hi Hun....what nice feedback :)

I was so interested to read the thread, and interesting name for a ship isnt it ?

i dont know if i like the name or not.

I am just finished another weekend of voluntary charity work.

its very rewarding for me, to give back to the community.

I'm excited to see this as well. I really enjoyed the District Brew House on Encore, and I'm hoping Prima offers a similar experience. Thanks!

She's busy cruising, good for her......another 26 days....(sigh)

BTW, been reading the reviews on the PRIMA....they're mixed to say the least. They're literate and informative..but like alot of things, I'm gonna have to pay the freight and form my own opinions.

Do what? I thought it the menu didn't change at all from one day to the next?

OUTSTANDING question. Love to see exactly what that Brewpub looks like...from REAL pics. and A&G...I agree completely...heard the same thing re reservations from our PCC..I think theres going to be a "knack" for sailing on her. They can put all the outside dining venues they like that they think look all kinds of frou-frou, but sitting "out there" when its too hot, or too windy etc etc doesn't float my bote. and CRUISEBROOK...almost afraid to ask, whats "THE LOCAL" compared to my go-to place at all hours, OSHEEHANS..no cruise is complete without THEIR wings and burgers and brewskis.

LOOKS LIKE YOUR LIST IS GROWING!!!!

I was on the transatlantic, twelve days, and found the non-rotating MDR menu to be extensive enough that it wasn't a problem at all. Although others disagreed, I preferred the non-rotating menu. You can find the menus online, and if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, you can plan ahead. If there's something you especially like, you don't have to only have it on the one day it's offered. We did have four free at sea specialty dinners, the other eight nights we ate at the MDR and never repeated anything.

As an aside, be sure to reserve any specialty dining and shows as soon as possible, the venues are small and book up. There is outdoor seating, but my cruise was too cold and windy to use them, I'm sure the dining will be better on a warm weather cruise.

It would be really nice to see what they have in the Brew Pub and also which beers are served in which venues would be awesome to know.

Outstanding..Curious about the "non-rotating" MDR menu, which kind of forces you to use other venues, for a price..(altho being Platinum,, we shouldn't complain)...I guess that was the idea? Our PCC had the same feedback. Also, curious as to the mechanism for ordering that "free" room service breakfast menu..still using hang tags?? CCL did away with them, I swore it was going to be a hassle...called Room Service afternoon of embarkation day, amazingly, got right thru, on a thought, asked if we could set it up for the entire week...WHY SURE!!!..Delivered coffee ++...every morning on time or earlier!!! Hope NCL can do as well..Will not be a pleasant day without couple cups and danish or fruit platter...But in any event, looking forward to YOUR revue and REAL pics. BON VOYAGE...SMOOTH SEAS!!!!

Yankee47 - We will be sure to give you a report on Vibe once we get back! Let us know if you think of other areas you would like us to check out or other questions on the ship. Of course, we will share tons of photos and a full ship review once we return!

You KNOW I have to ask this..we're booked on her 1/24. bought two VIBE passes sight unseen. The CGI representations may or may not be accurate. So if you have the time, I'd like to know 1) how to get to it. other ships with that venue have no elevator to it, requires a big set of steps to get "up there"...not easy if one is handicapped..2) are there umbrellas and/or overhangs to get in the shade? 3)How does one actually gain access? other ships have sliding doors which require a SEPARATE keycard. 4) Lastly, based on your experience cruising, would you hazard a guess as to the capacity of that venue? I know the reason most folks use it, is to AVOID crowds. and even tho the # of passes is by definition limited, seating for 500+ would make us VERY unhappy. Clearly, several ships have eliminated free "quiet, adult only spaces" to increase the size of their VIBES. AND, assuming you're going to post some pics around the ship, pls include the VIBE. As always, thanks for being you.
