GAVE IN TO THE INEVITABLE

Been griping and ranting for quite awhile about "paying more and getting less" yada yada. We had 4 booked, and by now would've been looking at something into 2025 and how we weren't in any big hurry to do it and so forth and so on. Welllll...booked one for 2/25 on CCL MIRACLE thru the Canal...Snagged the last Aft Vista suite. Like it was meant to be. So its clear to us we're gonna keep cruising until we run out of $$ or get too old and decrepit to get up the gangplank. Whichever comes first.

The Canal is definately on the list to do...Maybe once I get my next next week of vacation...only 7 more years...

Congratulations! I am NEEDING a cuise to recover from the Festival, but nothing booked until NYE!Crying

THANKS...it really and truly was a spur of the moment thing..we were "this close" to playing out the string of bookings and not cruising after that. oh well.........Did corners and aft cabins on other ships, including especially those "Havana" rooms on VISTA...including those great corner balconies, but never had an actual "two-room suite"..Looking forward to it...if we live that long hehehe (now we can have TWO TV's with nothing on either one, but who cruises to watch TV?)

Yankee47, you and your significant have great taste. I have never booked the suite, but always (one exception) book a corner balcony. The aft views are the best views from your cabin. Other great views happen, not to be discussed here.

Gotta make a correction...thats 2/7/25 on the MIRACLE out of Galveston....can i blame that on a brain f#%t???

Yeh right...haven't communicated with him since close to 20 years ago when he paid us a visit. Didn't go well...didn't know his "pedigree"...Told him i would've stayed in Big Green for 25yrs too if i could've done what he did and never played tag in the boonies....asked him how he managed it, he laffed alot, implied he "knew" the right people...I didn't...went downhill quick...I was only a grunt, he had a sexy job..gonna be funny if we see his hi-rise in Panama City...count my fingers....

As to the other, I'll leave that be...folks will jump to the wrong conclusions, although at my age a little jumping might do me good heheheheh

Yeah......... friction..... that's the ticket to a long and happy relationship.

It would appear your wife and I are kindred spirits, whereas you and my beloved share similar philosophies. Funny how it seems to work out that way..... a lot.

A couple things occurred to me since my last post. We are also booked for the Canal in Feb 25'. However, we'll be on the CCL Legend because the smaller ships are easier on my wife's knees and hips, as well as my back.

Also, as I recall you have a "much loved and respected" brother-in-law living in Panama. I'm sure after you booked you excitedly called or emailed him with the dates you be in the area, so you can reconnect. Big Smile

Awesome news man. You know you wanna ....

Depends on who you ask...she thinks she'll go on to 137, and spends accordingly....sometimes i think its debatable if I'll make the afternoon, and willing to spend accordingly...friction is what makes the world go round eh?

I have a sneaking suspicion it's NOT going to be the former.
