Interesting and a healthy perspective. A lot of focus on the cruise industry out there, but there are thousands of commercial (non-passenger) vessels still operating and moving goods across the world at risk also. Container ships, tankers, fishing vessels etc. Not glamorous, and smaller crew compliment, but they're not immune to this crud either. Not hearing that story. I think in general there's a some media out there that wants to level a level of blame on the cruise industry side of the shipping industry. Not sure why other and being an easy target. Its really not much different from the hotel industry - and you don't see analogous stories about Holiday inn or Hllton. Sorry for the ramble.

Y'all are welcome...interesting eh? but if I read it right, the ship SHE happens to work on didn't have any outbreaks. So I guess they should consider themselves amongst the lucky ones.

Found this enlightening! Glad you found it! Thanks.

Now that is a different perspective. Thanks for sharing.
