"IF" there is a next time (and there will most likely be :) ), Might I suggest Bermuda. If you love a small Island (23 miles long and 3 miles wide) with friendly people and a quaint British feel, then you might like Bermuda. Sailings leave from many Eastern ports (Including Port Canaveral) and the sail time is 1 1/2 to 2 days then 4 days on the Island. Bon Voyage.....

Gamblers and smokers go together so it would be hard for casinos to become smoke free. I agree with you that the smell of smoke in casinos puts me off going there also. Salty sea air and mist makes keeping windows clean on ships difficult. I know how annoying it is to take a photo from a window and get stress all over the picture.
Welcome to cruising. There are lots of cruises that are port intensive but for myself I actually look forward to those sea days to just relax and use the ship amenities. I get to sleep later too. Of course, I am also interested in seeing new ports, too. I'm sure that you will find the perfect cruise for your next vacation.
