Extra outlets sockets or extensions cord

Are we allow to bring an extra extension cord or outlet sockets?

We've been on 61 cruises so far with 2 more in the next 4 months (TransAtlantic and New panama canal full transit. Used to always take extension cords. But about 10 years ago, the lines we used banned them. That included Princess, Oceania, Celebrity and Regent. Each one confiscated the cable from checked or carryon baggage, so I switched to a couple of these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HJV4QFV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

On the upcoming Regent transatlantic I'll try again with a power strip with no surge protector and see what happens

Cruised exactly once without them. The first time. Now they're as essential as changes of shorts. We use a 12' so it reaches almost everywhere, and we ALWAYS stash it when we're out and about. Never had an issue.

i've never thought to bring these things but that is a great idea!

I always take a 6ft extension cord non surge protected. I use a Cpap and the cord is almost never log enough to get to the outlet. I have never had an issue on any line I’ve been on

Methinks she's a better person than alot of us....

You're a better person than I am auntie!

No surge protection allowed, have one with outlets for power and USB.

I do. I may skip the part that tells me who I am in the contract and who they are. But the past few years they have snuck a few things in. Nothing that would keep me from sailing but little things like the 15 drink/day limit. A long time ago, I learned that I MUST read anything I say I agree with by signature OR checkmark. I only made that mistake once!

You actually read the ENTIRE cruise contract before EVERY cruise?!!! Wow, I usually get cross-eyed halfway through the first page.

Do you also do that with your cable TV or internet terms of service contracts, or when you download a new app on your phone?

I guess we'll just have to make you our official source for keeping the rest of us up to date on cruise line policy. Congratulations. Happy

It often surprises me how un-informed people are when cruising. Many things are covered in the cruise contract (no one seems to read it). I actually do before each cruise. That's how I knew that there is a 15 /day drink limit with or without the drink package on our last cruise. We do not tend to reach the limit, but it was good to know. I will wait until we are closer to our sail date to see if anything new has been added or changed.
