Hi! I am trying to plan a “surprise” 40th birthday party for my husband next year and I am really interested in the Carnival Freedom ship for the timeframe I have selected. Has anyone been on it recently? Any issues or positive experiences? How was the ship over all? I see it was recently renovated. This will be a first time cruise for both of us and many family and friends. So I want to answer as many of their questions as I can with your help! Thanks in advance!

We are going on the Freedom for the first time in April. First time with a balcony and a premium vista at that!

We have been on Freedom 3 times including a 14 day journey cruise to the Panama canal. The ship is our favorite of all the ships we have been on, just the right size.

Be sure to check out the reviews on this site, but remember they are subjective. You may find that some people on the same sailing had totally different experiences.
