Encore Cruise Director

We have often had the same thought. Maybe CDs are geared toward a different group, but we have only had a few that we really liked, most were fine, and a couple were really bad.

We have found that a great CD can make a cruise even better. When we have had those that leave no impression, the cruise is still fun. There are a few CDs that I would choose a cruise because they are the CD if I was deciding between two options. There is one member of the Carnival Fun Squad that we expect to become a CD (Coco). When she does, we plan to be on her first contract as CD.

Just a question and not a criticism. Does it really matter to people who the cruise director is? There are some cruises we have been that we did not even know the name of the cruise director.

Not sure if he’ll still be there in February, but the Cruise Director aboard Norwegian Encore this week was Silas Cook.

Ship looked great; service was wonderful. Food was very good; included dining venues were even better than our last few NCL cruises. Entertainment was outstanding – Kinky Boots and especially Choir of Man are “must see”!
