Thank you all. Yes... This cleared it up for me.

Great post Simon.

I keep reminding everyone about the cruise.

I may have others getting on board.

There is a thread as well with info and chit chat about the official members cruise too!

As kdlovescruising mentioned, we are hosting a January 2018 cruise for members of the Cruiseline.com Community. Details of that sailing are here, including booking instructions: http://cruiseline.com/membercruise

Cruiseline.com is not a cruise line or travel agency, and we don't book cruises directly. We offer a comprehensive cruise search and price alert service and connect our members with reputable travel agencies and cruise lines for booking. You'll see prices and other offers provided by these partners throughout the site.

As far as the best way to book your cruise, that's an easy question without an easy answer. I sorted through the pros and cons of the many options, which you can read by clicking here.

For excursions, we offer tours from ShoreFox and Shore Excursions Group, both well known and reliable independent Shore Excursion vendors. Both have return to the ship guarantees and generally offer a better price and smaller group than similar excursions booked through the cruise line.

Hope that helps clear up some of the confusion. Let us know if you have any other questions.

You can search cruise through the site. But I have been using the cruiseline.com cruise in reference to the Jan 2018 cruise that Monique and I are going on.

Not sure if you are referring to the January 2018 cruise for cruiseline.com members?

I read post about booking cruises through Cruiseline.com. I'm assuming it is this website. Not sure how to do it. Also, Is it not better to go directly though the Cruise line itself for example Carnival cruise.com. Especially if an excursion is booked. If its not done through the cruise line the ship will leave you if you are late in returning. That would be drastic.

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you're asking? I don't think I understand the question.

Anybody know?
