Great advice for new and experienced cruisers.

Very true... And think.. IF you do miss it, the expense of getting to the ship... Peace of mind... Priceless.

Ive yet to book an excursion and when I do it will be through the cruise lines. Like you stated. They have to wait no matter what.

Consider the extra cost of a cruise line excursion in the same light as travel insurance.

This is why I will only do the excursions offered by the cruise line because they have to wait if you're late getting back.

It is a very informative article that should be given to all cruisers.

I think everyone thinks "It won't happen to me" or have never seen it, so they don't think... I'm always one for airing on the side of caution and like to be prepared.
