Check-in issues?

Is anyone else having check-in issues?

What's going on with RCCL's check-in procedure? Diamond Plus members here...We've been trying to check-in for our cruise, departing on 9/27 out of Galveston. Since check-in opened, we've been getting weird answers, the run-around, no answers, "disconnected", and other misc. We even had one CSR tell us to "check our internet connection." The app, website, various browsers, different computers, and too many phone calls...nothing works. What gives? Conspiracy?

The issue is with choosing your arrival time at the port. Everything else is mostly working. RCCL said it was supposed to be fixed weeks ago. As of this writing, we are 63 days out. My guess? At 60 days or 59 days, the issue is "magically" resolved.

They have been playing pawn games ever since with their excuses while trying to check-in when the "normal" time period was open. Being blunt, most reps feel like they have been reading from a script. HELP!

Anyone else having issues?

There should be a problem with their system. I recommend giving them a call and asking about your situation.

I think its the standard '21 bugs. Some ships seem to be doing better than others. It might be related to whatever the final capacity count needs to be. Might be a result of numbers not being locked down - all a guess.

During this time, the 90 day window isn't probable, although some ships have had it. Ships that are still waiting for their test cruises will not turn on the 90 day window. Others that are in itinerary turmoil due to port rule changes also will not support the 90 day window. Just the way it is in '21. At least we're kinda sailing.

I assume y'all are talking about RCCL only...have several booked with CCL and NCL, got into our acct no problem this am...I generally use Edge or IEX...and yes, they read from a script until they have it memorized. how do people without computers (yes there really are) actually do this stuff? Can't these reps plug into your account and enter the info for you? They can make bookings and reservations easily enough.

I got into cruiseplanner today without an issue. I'm sure if I try again, I wont be able to

There is a larger problem that only some people are just coming to know about, it seems there is some sort of incompatibility issues going on not only for Royal but with many sites that normally are optimized for Chrome suddenly not working over the past few weeks. Worst yet is they don't appear to be working on normal google, Firefox, Chromium, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari either.
So far the only browser that I've been able to consistently access my planner through has been Opera. But even that has been loading some pages of the site slowly and has a longer lag time at points displaying pictures on pages.

It's widespread, my mom and I can't check in on the app or even view any reservations on our cruise planner on the app.
