I didn't claim it is all inclusive. Its still a mid-grade line like NCL. I noted its moving to a more "inclusive" offerings with their pricing structure - which allows guest to bundle perks (of their choice) like drinks, gratuities, internet, etc. If you book the highest level suites on an Edge class ship, it gets close, but still no transportation, spa or excursion inclusion. The high end lines like Oceana, Regent, Crystal, Seaborne, Seven Seas, Viking and others are closer when you consider they will also bundle airfare within their pricing. So need to define what is meant by "all inclusive" and "inclusive". To me, "all inclusive" would include: air, spa, any specialty restaurants, drinks, internet, gratuities, and excursions. A line that comes pretty close is Sea Dreams Yacht club. None of the mid-grade lines do that.

One cruise at a time .. ;) .. Leaving in 1 month for our first cruise in 3 years .. one that we paid for 2 1/2 years ago. We will see where we go from there.

Do it!

Want to try Celebrity one of these days

On board Celebrity Apex right now! Happy

I wish Celebrity would bring some ships to the West coast, they are my favorite line.

Sadly, it's not really all inclusive. Try getting anything out of that so called "mini bar" for free. Most folk just have it emptied out by the steward.

Also, adults can play, too. I like their ships, but the only really fun thing I did on the ship was the silent disco and glass scultping/blowing. The art show got old.

On-board toys don't fit their demographic - primary adults. The parent company RCL is the primary family line, with all sorts of interesting toys. Celebrity has been working to be closer to an inclusive line. Less nickel and diming . I think they moved up because of the all inclusive packaging they started to offer after restart.

I think so, though they would do better if they had more amenities. It's pretty juvenile to think that waterparks, go-carts, multiplex theaters are only for so called "party ships". If Celebrity had these they would truly deserve that title. As long as they don't nickel and dime like NiCkLe & Dime Line does (NCL = Norwegian Cruise Line).
