Carnival's Past Cruiser Program

I read on another site today that Carnival is revamping (like everybody) their past cruiser program. They will be counting DAYS, not CRUISES like they did before. RCCL did this too. Will this effect you?

Again......2 year old thread.....

You will still need 10 cruises. I didn't affect me. I am now on Platinum. Gloria

Amen to @happyatsea...any day on a ship is a good day.
I am Platinum with 20 cruises (113 days) ...working on Diamond status. I preferred tracking number of cruises, but either way just happy to be on a ship !!
we are also working on platinium this year our first cruise is in 24 days, then another one in March. and another one in october..... Grandfather us in. we are on our way.....
I am still in the building phase - solidly gold but slowly closing in on platinum. The change probably makes sense. I would also like to see Carnival apply a cabin factor - just as the length of a cruise should affect your status, so should the quality of the cabin you consistently book. Just a thought.
Keep going...I just know that you'll make it!
I'm still gold, but working on being platinum baby! Only 47 more cruise days to go.
we have 51 days and will be grandfathered into platinum in our October cruise.
Glad that we're "in". It's been a while since we sailed on Carnival. We seem to be enjoying RCCL and Celebrity lately.
