I know that going on cruises is where you meet new people and things......but my family and I always choose a suite with a private balcony. For those times when we want to relax and chill without the crowds

I find I cannot fully enjoy a cruise without a balcony -- sitting there watching the waves roll by under the moonlight with a bottle of wine...
You will love it John and will be spoiled. Our first cruise we got upgraded to a balcony and got hooked from there. I use it in the morning, evening and at times throughout the day. Absolutely love having a balcony

I've had 2 balcony rooms and love them. Never had a suite, and was looking into them for S&G's. I would get a suite if A) I had that kind of money to spend and B) There were separate rooms for others to sleep in.
We just booked our first balcony room for the Coral Princess Panama cruise on 2018. On our last Panama we agreed it would be better, a little more privacy.
