Hail. I’m having a pretty hard time here. I’d like to bring some bottled water on board as I drink a lot of it. We are going on a royal Caribbean cruise in a few weeks and I found out that they don’t allow us to bring bottled water on board. Is that a technicality or if I try to bring bottled water in through my suitcase they won’t allow it? Does anybody have any feedback on this? Why has it gotten so pathetic? It’s just a huge scam. I’m really quite displeased with Royal Caribbean right now. Not just because of the water issue, but some other things that have come up as well. It’s not what I was expecting this time around. Thank you for any responses.

Bottled water

Most cruise lines allow canned water, since it cannot be tampered with. Look on Amazon for possibilities. Sorry, but the smuggling was getting out of hand. It probably still goes on, but not as bad as it was.
Sorry. Too easy. $81 plus gratuities? for a few bad apples, don’t screw the trustworthy and non few, a justified amount. I’m just a bit sick of being nickled and dimed.

Due to a few bad apples on each cruise thinking to smuggle booze in water bottles almost every cruise line has stopped allowing bottled water to be brought on board.
This is true. Almost all cruise lines have stopped allowing water to brought on board. Princess and Carnival you can buy water pre-cruise and have it delivered to you stateroom. The prices are not that bad. NCL I think is too high. Not sure about RCCL.
I take a water bottle and drink the ships water.
