Bottled Water or Tap on Cruises?

I was wondering if you drink the tap water on cruises or do you opt for bottled water?

If I am drinking water it will usually be from the tap. I have never been big on bottled water. Interestingly much of the bottled water that is sold comes from municipal water supplies.

I do also.

At home we have Poland Spring delivered. Well, that's changing because of the move. We bought a Berkey filter. I've heard good things about them.

My daughter likes the sparkling water too. Thanks for replying.

I should probably mention that I rarely drink tap water at home, either, so it's not just a ship thing.

I will drink both. I have taken a Britta Water bottle that has a small filter in it. On Carnival it is is very cheap to buy a 12 pack pre-cruise and then you do not have to carry it on to the ship.

I will drink both.

Bottled.

Bottled... prefer sparkling with meals and still otherwise.

As you know, Carnival no longer permits you to bring aboard bottled water. You can, though, purchase it on board. I find that usually the first day of the cruise, the tap water tastes strongly of chlorine. So I bring some liquid or powdered mix to add to the water. It helps.
