Baltic Cruise

We are beyond excited for our Baltic cruise with Oceania in June. We have never visited Scandinavia or Russia and felt this would be the perfect introduction to that part of Europe. We’re particularly thrilled about the 3-day tour of St. Petersburg we booked with Alla Tours. We’ve heard great reviews of this tour company and feel this may be one of the highlights of our trip.

Looks to be a great trip. Enjoy.

How long was the stop in St Petersburg? was the Moscow trip through an agent? It never occurred to me even to bring it up to anastasia travel, maybe because the 2 days were fully packed with museum visits and canal tours, i never though i could see the capital, even briefly. But no regrets, those fountains and lions stole my heart, so did the people and the guide and the driver(i still cannot believe the effort he made to find me to return the ring that I dropped in the car...thanks Sasha)

Sounds like an exciting cruise. Enjoy it!

I wonder how the OP enjoyed her cruise? We’ve visited Stockholm a couple of times and loved it, but we cruised rhere on a Silja ferry and aon the Viking Cinderella Manager years ago. We were in Helsinki at the time. I love Finland and hope to go back someday. The history, architecture, food, and people are all so wonderful.

We did two Baltic cruises, really enjoyed them both. The first time we originated in Stockholm, stayed three nights prior in a hotel there. Loved Stockholm, lots to see, do, visit and eat there, my wife is 100% Swede but was born and raised in the US, she doesn't speak Swede though, however it makes no difference in Stockholm almost all speak English. From an historical standpoint the Baltic cruises are tops in the world of voyaging.

We are considering doing a cruise like this in the future so would love to hear how it went for you.

We went on a Baltic Cruise with Holland America in 1998 and loved every minute of it. At that time the cruise ship left from Dover, England and ended in Copenhagen. St. Petersburg was awesome and we even flew into Moscow for a day. At that time we chose to book an inside stateroom so we could go on every excursion we could squeeze in and never regretted the choice. It was the trip of a lifetime.
