Went on my first cruise in July 2015 and will be going on my 5th in July 2017. Love the activities associated with cruising and the ability to visit different and exciting ports. Cruise addict.

Past cruises

Allure of the Seas

July 2017 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip) Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Royal and Allure = Top-Notch

Allure of the Seas is a great ship with tons of activities for the whole family. Highly recommend this ship as well as the itinerary which included Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel.

Independence of the Seas

March 2017 - 5 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip) Cruise on Independence of the Seas

Independence of the Seas - Will Sail Again!!

The cruise was amazing from the service to the food to the entertainment onboard.  The ports (Costa Maya and Cozumel) were great even though we have already visited those ports, we still enjoy revisiting.  The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the overall cleanliness of the ship.  There was chipped paint, stains in various areas, shower in cabin 2328 was not very clean.  The "eye-sores" I noticed may or may not have been seen by others but I thought I would mention.  I will still continue to cruise Royal Caribbean...Allure of the Seas up next July 2-9, 2017.

Cruise tips

Falmouth, Jamaica

This is mine and my family's favorite port. The people are extremely friendly and the vibe of the port is relaxing and easy going. We have always done zip-lining in Jamaica and have never been disappointed zipping through the trees.

Cozumel, Mexico

Great family port with lots to do. We have always gone to Playa Mia and it is a fun relaxing day. There is a mini water park and a bunch of water activities...highly recommend.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

This is one of our favorite spots due to the exclusivity and the beaches. This is our beach excursion port and we love the water activities and the snorkeling. The snorkeling is not as good on the lagoon side but the ocean side is amazing.

Be sure to book your entertainment prior to cruising. Although there were nights people were able to attend shows who had not reserved a spot, they had to enter right before the shows started and sit at the back.

Unfortunately, there is only one soft serve ice cream station and it is on deck 11 by the kid pool and closes at 9 each night...be sure to get what you can during the day for the free ice cream lovers.
