MSC Seaside

April 2019 - 14 Night Caribbean And Antilles (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on MSC Seaside

We just came off a back to back 14 day cruise on the Seaside . We found the ship to be very beautiful modern and up to date . We had an internal stateroom and we found it to be small . Bathroom was small and the shower was tiny with hardly any room to move around in it . Buffet meals were good but tended to be repetitive over the 14 day cruise . We brought the Roys Asian dining package and we found it to be excellent and worth getting . Meals and service by the waiters were faultless. There seemed to be a lot of European people on board who at times were rude by pushing into cues and even took our towels when we were on a tour at one of the ports . Whole time on board we were continually asked if we wanted to buy a drink or meal package this happened every day and got a bit annoying after a while . The shows were good but were repeated the second week of our cruise and the content of each show seemed similar to the previous show we had watched. The customer service staff were attentive and friendly as were the cabin staff . Activities on the ship were limited and not much on to cater for 5000 people on board . Overall cruise was good but a shorter cruise of 7 days would have been enough .

Carnival Legend

April 2018 - Transpacific from Sydney Cruise on Carnival Legend

Great Cruise would recommend

Overall the cruise was great, Carnival Legend ship is a bit outdated in its decor and needs to be updated. Entertainment staff and cruise director were excellent. The Captain was very good he kept us updated daily. There needs to be more food options for patrons on board ..Also washing facilities need to be increased as there werent enough for the amount of guests on board. The free cocktail nights were awesome and a lot of people enjoyed these. I commend the captain and staff for organizing Tonga in such short notice due to not being able to dock in Port Denarau due to bad weather . Overall we had a great time and a cruise is what you make of it yourself most of the time.

Pacific Aria

May 2017 - 14 Night South Pacific Cruise on Pacific Aria

We were on the Aria back in May 2017 for a 14 day the Mutiny on the Bounty Cruise . It was our first cruise . The Aria was just the right size of ship to go on if you are going on a first cruise .The cabins are small but enough size considering you don't spend a lot of time in them . Room stewards were excellent in keeping our room tidy . They attended twice a day and often left chocolates and a towel animal on our bed . We also had an itinerary program left on our bed daily featuring the next days activities . There are great bars and shows . The food was awesome and the theme nights were fantastic . The captain and crew did a great job in looking after all of its passengers . We were always well informed of any weather changes . My husband and I found the overall experience amazing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this ship to anyone.

Cruise tips

Cozumel, Mexico

Loved Cozumel.. we did the Twister boat ride to Isla Pasion . What an awesome experience!! Loved the boat ride and the Island was breathtaking. We had all you eat buffet and drinks included . Highly recommend this tour if you get a chance to try it .

George Town, Grand Cayman

Beautiful place we did the White House excursion too . Beach was beautiful .. beach chairs were supplied .. it’s a great spot for a snorkel .. There was food and drink for sale however we found drinks quite pricey .. views here were awesome 😎

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

We took a catamaran tour and ended up spending time on beach . We were limited for things to do here as the beach was sectioned off and we couldn’t explore any other part of our stop .

Miami, Florida

Miami is beautiful but very humid and hot . You can take free trolleys around Miami and see some points of interest . Don’t forget to wear sunscreen as you can get burnt pretty bad . There are lots of attractions and people offering tours . Be weary of taxi drivers as some try and rip you off .
