Are you considering a Canada/New England cruise this year? There's still plenty of time to plan your dream vacation, with Princess Cruises offering an impressive 25 departures for the upcoming June through October 2024 Canada/New England cruise season. 

Princess Cruises will deploy three ships to the region this year, Emerald Princess, Enchanted Princess, and Island Princess. Voyages will sail from New York City, Quebéc City, and Boston (a new port for the line).

The upcoming Canada & New England 2024 cruise season from Princess offers guests the chance to explore the many wonders of the region, including its scenic and historic New England/Canadian coastal towns. 15 voyages will visit Saint John, which gives visitors access to the famous Bay of Fundy known for having the world’s largest tides. 

Following are some of the highlights of Princess Cruises’ 2024 Canada/New England season. 

Departures from Boston: Boston, aka Beantown, is a new home port for Princess Cruises. Emerald Princess will sail from Boston from July 14 - October 7, 2024. Seven-day roundtrip voyages to visit Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, and Portland or Bar Harbor. 10-day Boston to Quebéc City (or vice versa) cruises will sail to Saint John, Charlottetown, plus an overnight in Quebéc City. Guests looking for a longer cruise can opt for a 17-day cruise from Boston that combines the best of the East Coast with three visits to ports in Greenland. 

New Colonial Heritage Itineraries: For the first time, Princess to offer a series of Colonial Heritage itineraries with stops in Yorktown, VA (part of Virginia’s Historic Triangle, the gateway to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown), along with stops in Charleston, Boston, and Halifax or Saint John. These cruises will sail on Island Princess roundtrip from New York on June 4, 14, and 25, 2024.  

Enchanting Cruises from New York City: Enchanted Princess will sail from New York City for the 2024 Canada/New England season. Seven-day cruises will visit Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifax, and Saint John. These cruises will depart August 24, 31; September 7, 14, 21, 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26, 2024.

Shore Excursions Galore: Princess Cruises will offer a wide range of immersive shore excursions, to allow guests to explore the best of these New England and Canadian ports. Highlighted tours include:

  • Scenic visits to Acadia National Park, Cooks Trail, the Viking Trail, Bay of Fundy, and Peggy’s Cove
  • Active explorations featuring walking tours, hiking, and sea kayaking.
  • Tours for whale watching, seeing puffins, rocky coastlines, historic mansions and lighthouses
  • Culinary tours featuring lobster bakes, breweries, and pubs
  • Tours celebrating French-Canadian culture exploring the architecture and cafés of Old Quebéc
