Celebrity Cruises Announces New 2024 Caribbean Program with Visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay

Celebrity Cruises is adding more ways to explore the sun-soaked destinations of the Caribbean. Today, the cruise line announced a new Caribbean program for 2024, that includes stops in a new port and first-ever itinerary offerings. 

Come April, the Celebrity Cruises will double its number of year-round Caribbean sailings, and introduce its first-ever weekend itineraries. In addition, the cruise line will add a new Caribbean port stop - Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas. 

“Our customers are consistently asking for more opportunities to visit this stunning region year-round, have more weekend options so they can getaway easier, and have expressed a desire for a private island destination. By introducing this new program, we can meet this demand and offer something new and historic to all our guests,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “Perfect Day is a destination like no other, and we are honored to add it to our portfolio.”

These newly-announced 2024 Caribbean cruises from Celebrity will sail on Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Reflection.   

Beginning in April 2024, Celebrity Beyond will homeport year-round from South Florida. The ship will offer a mix of six- and eight-night voyages, with visits to Grand Cayman, The Bahamas, Mexico, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, and Perfect Day at CocoCay. Celebrity Beyond is currently the newest ship in the Celebrity fleet and the newest Edge Series vessel. 

Celebrity Reflection will sail Celebrity Cruises' first-ever weekend getaways. These three and four-night itineraries will allow guests to recharge in the Caribbean with all the excitement of a Celebrity sailing. Port calls will include Perfect Day at CocoCay, Key West, and Bimini.  

A New Caribbean Port

2024 will mark the first time Celebrity Cruises has regularly sailed to Perfect Day at CocoCay. The private island is located in the Bahamas and is owned by Royal Caribbean International. 

Perfect Day at CocoCay offers something for travelers of all ages and types, including miles of pristine white sand beaches, the largest freshwater pool in The Bahamas, and several swim-up bars. The island is home to the Coco Beach Club which features its own heated infinity pool, specialty restaurant, and 20 overwater cabanas. Families and adventure seekers flock to Perfect Day’s Thrill Waterpark (home to North America’s tallest waterslide), or soar 450 feet above the island at the Up, Up and Away balloon ride. 

Come January 2024, Perfect Day at CocoCay will open Hideaway Beach, an adults-only paradise, with private cabanas and a new eatery.
