Shipmate Introduces New Cruise Deal Searching Features

Hello, to cruise savings - Shipmate is making finding the best deals for your dream vacation easier!  

Recently, we rolled out a new feature for better cruise and deal searching options for iOS users. Android users - We haven't forgotten you! This feature will soon be available on Android devices - check back soon!

We’ve now fine-tuned this tool to show you the best cruise deals from all cruise lines so you get the most savings on your next cruise. When you search for deals on Shipmate, you will see historical pricing for deals and a wide range of options to choose from to sort and view the best deals available.  

Following is a step-by-step guide on how to use Shipmate’s new deal-searching tools. Filter by the type of discount you would like to see. 

1. Open Shipmate and select the Deal button (bottom right button with a magnifying glass icon).

2. At the top left next to the Filter icon is the ‘Deals’ button Tap this to display deals. 

3. You will then be prompted to enter your cruise search deal Filter options - Destination, Sail Month, Length, Port, Cruise Line, Ship, or Stateroom.

See deals and filter by the type of deals you want to display by tapping the ‘Sort’ button. Select this option and choose from the prompt to sort by deal type - Recommended, Price (low to high), Price (high to low), Price Per Night, Cruise Length, or Sail Date. 

4. Once all your search parameters are set, click the blue Search button on the main deals page. 

5. A list will populate with the deals based on the options you have selected. For each deal, you will see a percentage listed. This signifies the price discount, based on the filters you have chosen. 

6. Once you have scrolled through the deals and found a sailing you like, tap it to select and the cruise details will appear on a new screen. This page will display the sailing name, pricing details, as well as the ship and itinerary information. 

Set Up a Price Alert

Not ready to book the cruise, but want to receive a Price Alert notification email every time the price of the cruise changes? Tap the bell icon. 

This will prompt options for you to receive notifications based on the type of stateroom selected. Choose which option you like and you will receive Price Alerts based on your preferences. If you do not want to receive Price Alerts, choose the ‘Later’ button and it will favorite the sailing for you to view later.
