What is included in your cruise fare?
So you’re ready to set sail, but do you know exactly what is included in your cruise fare? While most cruises are not all-inclusive, you expect certain things to be included: your cabin, dining in the Lido Deck buffet and main dining rooms, basic daily entertainment — such as stage shows and comedy acts — and access to the onboard fitness center.
However, over the last decade or so, cruisers have begun to gripe about the nickel-and-diming that seems increasingly common onboard. Not sure what your cruise ship charges extra for? Before you set sail, check out our handy guide:

As in all things, the consumer needs to educate themselves. Articles like this are a prime example of the services this site can provide. Experience has shown me that I prepay as much as I can prior to the date of departure. Pictures, Knick-Knacks and souvenirs are always extra, and we plan for it. Also, for the smart and informed shopper---Jewelry....... You can save big bucks if you know what you are looking for. But again, Do Your Homework..If a cruiser complains about the nickels and dimes, they could have booked a more expensive cruise with a luxury cruise line. Carnival has low cost fares, but extra billing. Please plan accordingly.
