We tried a cove balcony on this trip and enjoyed the privacy and being closer to the water. The weather was great and something was always going on somewhere on the ship. Bar tenders and wait staff remember you and what you drink. And as always plenty of food to eat all day long!!
Cruise tips
Trip re-routed to Haiti.
Very good sail and snorkel trip here with some great reefs. Small but fun island and a most see in the area.
Very nice island with some great things to see. Our tour was cancelled due to lack of participation so no comment on the beaches or snorkeling. But the swinging bridge was different and liked many of the shopping areas.
A little disappointed in the tour and the dead reef they had on the island tour we took. The fish were great and the facilities very nice. Also the tour ended at 5 pm and after cleaning up and going back onshore to do some shopping we found that they all closed at 6 pm. So we were unable to do any shopping. The ship was in port until 11 pm :-(
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
We stayed at a hotel close to the port and did not have any other activities on Ft. Lauderdale.
We have been there several times and only love to snorkel there. We had a blast on our tour with Captain Bryan's Sail and Snorkel tours on the Buccaneer. Also it was Sunday and most of the shops in town were closed.
Celebrity Equinox
Get the Aqua Class suit. It is well worth the service and the Blue dinning.
Expensive, not a lot of real local culture.
Great buys on shore and love the Deluxe Beach Break and Snorkeling with Furry Tours.
Did not stay or visit Galveston. Traffic getting to and from there is awful.
Carnival Breeze
I would get on this ship again. We had a great trip and meet some fun people and enjoyed everything we did on and off the ship.
