No hassels leaving from San Francisco, no lines or customs delays. The food was excellent, service was supurb, ports and excursions entertaining. Days at sea were filled with things to do onboard, relaxing and enjoyable. We would have liked to spend more time in Victoria, B.C. and have been able to enjoy high tea at the Empress Hotel. This was our 5th trip to Alaska, 3rd wtih Princess. We live in Las Vegas, NV and enjoy our respite from the heat. Weather on arrival in San Francisco was 60 degrees cooler than Las Vegas, and continued to be in the 60's and low 70's throughout our trip. Enjoyable ship, delightful people on board.

Fastastic scenery great itinery.
We had a Navigation suite and enjoyed to amenities provided. The lounge for suite passengers was exceptional, as was the breakfast provided in the restaurant for suite passengers. Liked the size of the ship. Was disappointed in normal service and disappointed in the food. Soups were very, very salty, barely warm, menu was disappointing for me and quality of steak very poor. I asked for chocolate ice cream with my pie the first evening, and was told it was unavailable. When we went up to the buffet they had chocolate ice cream, and it amazed me that it took 3 nights to finally get chocolate ice cream. While we enjoyed the ports, we did not enjoy dining, went to the speciality restaurants twice, which is something we rarely participate in. Will not cruise with Holland America again. Returning to Princess.

Older ship, well maintained, smaller in size very easy to get around.
Great photo ops, breathtaking
Great fishing, shopping and tours of totems.
Would have liked more time to enjoy Victoria. Left too early to enjoy high tea.
Small town, fun place to visit.
Love ease of boarding, no customs.
Excursions to Mendenhall Glacier are excellent, well worth price.
