A: The crew is very helpful getting people on and off the ship when docked. Otherwise, you are are mostly on your own. I pushed my Dad around for several years. Hopefully you will have another person to assist. Cobblestones are very difficult. Ramps /... curb cuts are often lacking. If your wheelchair user can stand and walk a few steps, it will help. A: I am not concerned with excursions. I am concerned about leaving these two people behind on the ship. Will the crew help the person that is in the wheelchair (if needed)?

A: The crew is very helpful getting on and off the ship. Otherwise you’re on your own. It can be a major walk just getting to the busses. A: It is usually fully booked, so I advise you make reservations. You can make them on board at the service desk, but if you do this then do it when you first get on the ship. It is easier to book your reservations on the Holland America website in adva... nce and pick days the ship is at sea. Also book the time they first open to get a ocean view table.See More
