Nightmare trying to get everything coordinated and being forced to separate from our group from six cabins, which were all booked next to each other months ago. I ended up on the other side of the ship and on a different deck from my wife and kids. RCCL would say that the travel agency needed to fix the issues, and the travel agency would say that RCCL needed to fix the issues. Both groups promised stuff and then never actually did anything. Even on the cruise, I had to visit the customer service desk several times to try and resolve issues. I will never book though a travel agency again! Just another choke point that did not help resolve issues and caused literally hours and hours of extra phone calls.

Great experience; relaxing cruise. This is my first time taking a cruise vacation, and the experience on this cruise has been excellent.

Will only cruise Royal. First class across the board

Hard to put the whole trip into words. Over a year of preparation, the cross country travel to get there with such a large group, the experience of even getting on the vessel and the week long destination before having to round it all back on the return trip. A memorable life experience is the simplest way to put it. My only real complain was not even the fault of the trip itself; not getting to see the northern lights. I will just have to try again another.. decade or so to prepare another trip!

Beautiful Cruise, but make sure you don't have a balcony directly below a deck that extends out past the ship.

A great cruise to see Alaska and to enjoy the glaciers, waterfall and salmon.

Our Alaskain cruise on Ovation of the Seas was amazing. This ship is wonderful, the service is great, and the entertainment is enjoyable. Experiencing Alaska was unbeatable life experience.

Royal Caribbean is a first class operation with consummate professionals. We felt safe the entire time, with the protocols not being overbearing. The entertainment was top notch, and the food was delicious. Overall, a wonderful trip. Would not hesitate to book again!

The cruise was wonderful! Ship was awesome! Scenery was beautiful! A couple of days of rainy weather that hindered a few activities but overall all was wonderful!

I feel comfortable and safe with royal Caribbean cruise ship. Wish they have better wifi or internet connections.

Overall Food in dining room was terrible. Not sure if its RC or too large of ship with too many passengers, short on staff or dining kitchen staff that has a bad system???? Not a single meal arrived even warm. Also disappointed as a single mom with 17 year old son this Royal Caribbean cruise did not place us at dining table with other single moms and teenagers. That was our experience on our carnival cruises which was a huge perk dining with other moms and teenagers instead of sitting at 2 seater table by ourselves. I rate the food in dining room a 0 and we are not hard to please with dining experience. Expect food temperatures to arrive as they should and not everything cold like its sat out for hours. Worst food experience I have ever had on a cruise.

Let's see... First off Love love loved the ship. Right off the bat I would have to say service was top notch. Plenty of activities to keep you busy or could just relax. Never had a bad meal. Excursions were great and the scenery breath taking.

It was the most amazing cruise. the staff and crew were amazing. All the shows and entertainment were wonderful. We had a huge family of 19 with different age groups and we all enjoyed it very much.

The Ovation is an amazing ship but may be too large and overwhelming for some. It is beautiful with many upscale amenities. The Diamond Room has a wonderful concierge.it is the kind of a ship that can totally occupy and entertain kids of any age. The Seaplex sports complex takes care of that.lk

Overall the cruise is good and excellent. Had a very good experience with everything. The only thing I felt was that I wish they limited the number of people using the elevator.

Ovation is a beautiful, clean and modern ship. It was the first time we have sailed on a ship that holds 4,000-5,000 people and that is a challenge in itself. It is a floating city spread across 16 decks. It took me a few days to find your way around and I’m used to cruising and pretty good at finding my way around. There are lots of dining venues and the food is in almost all cases, quite good. The crew are terrrifc, friendly and helpful. There are lots and lots of children, from toddlers to teens onboard and the ship seems to cater to the “bring the entire family” theme. How many ships have a Bumper Car arena, rock climbing and surfing venues onboard. So be prepared to encounter elevators full of kids, especially teems, roaming free. Wi-Fi is expensive and spotty at best. Don’t bother with the RCL onboard texting app. The drink packages are very expensive, so do the math beforehand.
