A: I've been on that ship last year to Alaska and personally both sides have great views.

A: No Royal ship has guest self service laundries. For $35 you can roll/cram a LOT of clothes in a bag they provide for their Wash and Fold service. We use it about halfway through our cruises. They occasionally have a $10 off special for this service.... Just watch your Cruise Compass newsletter. Enjoy !See More

A: You should have received an email with a pdf attachment that includes your tags. Otherwise, you can go on your account (with a laptop, not the app) and get them there. We sail on 8/11 and that’s how we got ours. Enjoy your trip.

A: You can schedule a glacier tour or in our cruise (Ovation) the ship went close to a glacier and did an impressive double 360 degree rotation that gave a great view of the glacier. I took picture from my breakfast table in Coastal Kitchen. Many people... went in deck for this. I was happy and had a great breakfast while I saw the glacier!See More

A: Luggage tags - 1 for each bag you plan on checking ship-side. I like to print out a Set Sail pass for each person on the reservation just in cast there are glitches with the app.

Answered by diamondplus4lyf on May 10, 2023

A: After on-line check-in, I always printed the luggage tags by signing in outside of the app. Also, I recommend getting the luggage tag holders from Amazon as these plastic holders are really useful for the paper tags.

Answered by Sherry2017 on July 31, 2023

A: I always print the boarding pass and luggage tags. The boarding pass is just a backup in case I have problems with the smart phone. Low battery, no signal, etal.

Answered by calestultz on August 1, 2023

A: Just a follow up but where and when do we receive these luggage tags? Txs!

Answered by KathrynJoan on July 26, 2023

A: Nothing if you have a smart phone, I save everything in my Wallet. Failing that you only need to print your set sail pass, all the other paperwork is for information only which you can refer back to if necessary

A: I really enjoy Jaimie’s Italian. There’s so much on the menu, the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Izumi would be my second place only because I’m not a sushi person but I still love it. Then Chops because I enjoy the steak... but the pace of service is so slow it’s a 2-2.5 hour dinner, much prefer lunch at Chops for speed of service. Wonderland is great with people who haven’t been, but it is a one time thing. It’s the same ship to ship and year to year.See More
