Review summary
This was our third cruise and our third cruise line. For the first three days we weren't sure we were going to survive because the food was terrible. Overcooked, undercooked, cold, brown lettuce, etc. We spoke to the person in charge and immediately noticed changes. By the end of the cruise we were really pleased with the food.
We enjoyed how this cruiseline organized the guests for port trips, by having us meet at certain times and then going off the ship together. We really appreciated the cold washcloth and cold drink offered on the pier upon out return.
Security was great on the piers - including the sniffer dogs and security with machine guns.
Too bad smoking is still allowed on the ship.
We didn't appreciate being hit with the tip at the end of the cruise - somehow we had thought it was included. The staff were good at negotiating the amount of tip we wanted to pay.
Lots of variety in the programs offered on the ship.

Ship tip
Best place to sit in the shade is under the lifeboats on the non-smoking side! They need more chairs there, though.
