Review summary

We took Norwegian Star on a 14-day Panama Canal trip recently. It was a marvelous experience. We had multiple trips with Norwegian before but this one was most unforgetable. The stateroom, food, on board service are not much different from other Norwegian ships, but the ports we visited were just a totally fresh experiences. The Pacific shores of Mexico are just like a heaven, Puerto Huatalco, Puerto Valarta and Cabo San Lucas are just gorgeous. Of course, the experience of passing the Panama Canal is a life time experience and hopefully we can take another one after the canal expansion completed by 2016. Overall, we enjoyed this trip very much and strongly recommend if you have enough vacation time and never been Mexica west coast.
