Very disappointed with the upcharges on NCL for almost everything. Normally we would get a free bottle of wine due to our status (Sapphire) when entering our stateroom. No more! Thank God we had free gratuities, otherwise it would have cost us $400-$20 a day per person. The food at the main dining room was not great to say the least. Their $10 shopping spree just went up to $15. I could go on and on but there was too much nickel and dimeing to mention. We are done after our next 7 day cruise with NCL so we can utilize our $250 voucher.

Met some wonderful new friends , and had a great escape from " the real world". The GETAWAY is aptly named.

Staff very friendly, ship very clean. Kind of boring. Especially with private island day canceled and 6 days stuck on a ship

I was traveling with two elderly women in their 80s. They did not want to fly to Florida, so I went on Norwegian for the first time out of New York City. It was a big disappointment and a mistake. New York City is not a friendly town. I am comparing NCL to two other cruise lines, and eight cruises. Sorry NCL never again.

The ship is over run with crowds. The food was often cold in the MDR. THE spa was rarely mopped is is not safe and too crowded. Eliminating late night buffet only exacerbates the food venue crowding during the day. Staff was stressed by the massive pressure this puts on them Il Cucina needs to go. The food was not worthy and yet they call it a speciality Cagneys and Ocean blue never disappoint. Elimination of evening turn down is shocking and forced us to re think how we spent our day. The muster should be by video like other cruise lines and should start and end on time.

For us the ship was simply way too big and noisy. Good for families and less experienced cruisers but not for us. Guest services were really strained despite the effort to please. Many were not notified of the itinerary change until after sailing, which required phone calls and rescheduling of excursions with third party providers. NCL does a good job of catering to the mass market, but those who have cruised on premium lines will not be satisfied. Evening entertainment was very good but had to be reserved in advance as the venues were not equipped to handle 4000 pax. Thankfully there were some quiet areas provided but they were few and far between, and on the open deck. I would not want to be on this ship in other than warm good weather. The food in the standard cozy restaurants was good but the lido cafe was crowded and chaotic. The basic price of the cruise was very attractive but the a la carte dining, expensive drink and drink packages, and the pricey internet charges easily exceed the cost of the basic cruise. Think of Ryanair or Spirit.

Will never cruise norwegian again. We found out itinerary changed when we boarded and werent going to St lucia where i had 2 shore excursions booked. Never any chairs on deck,and no tables ar breakfast or lunch buffet. Way overcrowded. Then we leave st thomas and that night find out were not going to Dominican republic next day less than 24 hours so cant cancel plans and spent an extra day at sea

We enjoyed our cruise alot! It was my boyfriend's first cruise and he had a great time also! We are talking about the next one!!

Second & last time on this ship. Specifically booked for Bermuda & it was canceled.

Was our first NCL Cruise, my sister, and I had an amazing time. We spent her birthday Saint Paddy’s day. On the boat the ports were rough Florida we entered late so we didn’t get to partake in Florida and spending a day and a half. There was kind of a bummer. We didn’t get to Bermuda but the five hours we would’ve been there would’ve been a waste of time not much. You can do in five hours but we ended up in Nassau Bahamas that was a beautiful day if we didn’t end up in Nassau I feel like I would’ve spent a lot of money to stay in the US between the original port of Virginia, Florida And what our previous cruise ended up in Miami. The staff were amazing. The food was great entertainment was great. We especially enjoyed Cagneys on my sister’s birthday.

First cruise and it left much to be desired. I am willing to try another cruise but this experience could have definitely deterred others.

Two of the ports were canceled last min. I was charged for a drink out of the mini bar that I did not drink

over all cruise was good. not going to the DR made the trip home too long. this was the second cruise in a row that they didnt go to the DR, not buying the reason for not going was weather. booking through was great and loved the extra perks. Just wish we would have known what they were up front.

We have been on over 50 cruises and by far this was the worse experience we ever had. Will not be traveling on NCL again. Maybe it is just this ship because we took the cruise around Hawaii on NCL and it was nice.

We will never, ever cruise on NCL again. They kept us on the ship longer than I could ever have imagined and it was not pleasant.

It’s my first cruise with NCL and will be my last. Change of itinerary multiple times before sail day, then cancelled Bermuda last minutes and took us to Miami! Delayed on our first day to Florida too. So at the end this terrible 8 day trip became 3 days in Florida, half day in Bahamas and 4.5 SEA DAYs. If I want to go to Florida it would be better to just fly. There were way too many people on the ship, had to wait a long time for anything. No reservation available anywhere. Activities extremely boring and the pool was filled with people and terrible music. It was a 8 day suffer for my friends, nobody seems happy at the end. I will NEVER give NCL my money. This is a total rip off.

Worst cruise ever because of the maximum capacity and without enough staff to accommodate them.

Norwegian is not as advertised. The customer service prior to the cruise was horrific. Spoke with several people on board who report that quality has significantly decreased. Food quality/variety was poor. One of the speciality dining restaurants, Brazilian steakhouse was horrible, the food was rancid! Most areas seemed very understaffed. Good luck talking to someone in customer service, unless you want to wait hours...
