Review summary

This ship with 4800 passengers is crowded and loud. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation I do not recommend this cruise or probably any cruise. The only quiet time is in your cabin. Our family will go back to vacationing on resorts travelling through air.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Sailing out of Manhattan was smooth. Cool to see the skyline from the Hudson.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was hit or miss at the restaurants and buffet. Nothing really amazed me as far as taste.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pools are small and crowded. Most activities were closed due to bad weather. Hot tubs were over run by kids and teenagers even the adults only tubs.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were good but the theatre was hot.

Children's Programs

Did not use.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the staff were awesome but I did have a run in with one member that probably had a rough day.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was kept clean. Just overcrowded everywhere. The buffet reminded me of the mall food court, loud and annoying. The pool was very small for 4800 people it was so crowded I did not get a chance to use it.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was good. Unfortunately we spent a lot of time there due to bad weather, 30 foot waves and sea sickness. It was comfortable except for the very soft pillows.
