Review summary

I wont choose NCL for a long time. I prefer Royal and Celebrity ships, Carnival entertainment, and all other lines food over NCL. This is my second and likely my last Norwegian cruise.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
On the ship fast with no hassle but they said I didn't have a CC on file which ended up in a couple hours of waiting and work on my end.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Meh, at best. I wont be looking to go on an NCL ship for a while.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
It felt at times that I was in a 65+ community center

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Quartet is one of the best at sea

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Entorage was decent but small and uncommunicative

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Our steward was terrible. Forced us out of our room to clean on occassions after we had been out of the room for 4-6 hours. They dont make up the room while you're gone- they do it when youre in line as they go down the hall. Very frustrating. They didn't change the sheets many times. I was very disappointed with the room.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Design is ok and awkward in places. They kept it clean but the ship was tired and needs a Dry dock again.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Balcony is so utterly small. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The mini bar looked like a ghost town western and the fridge didn't work. Maintenance had to be called three times for our room. It was by far the worst room I've stayed in on a cruise.

Ship tip

Don't take a winter cruise to Bermuda. The pools and slides are shutdown so sea days require all people to cram into the indoors. Utterly overcrowded with people drapped over every inch of public space.

Ports of call

New York, New York

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Loved Berumda if you take transport into the island. The Dockyard itself is ok

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Off fast, luggage was found with little effort
