Norwegian Getaway Cruise Reviews - Q&A

3.9
Will be on The Getaway on a transatlantic cruise next month. One of the stops is in Le Harve (Paris) but my understanding is that it’s a 2.5 hour ride to the city from the port. Is it worth it to take a tour of Paris? Or is it better to just explore the immediate area of Normandy? Thanks in advance!!

it is worth it if you want to see Eifel Tower and Paris Piramid. Also, you might have time to see Luvre, which a must to see when in Paris. Good Luck!

We are doing Paris next time. Highly recommend Mont St Michel. What an amazing place. Bus ride was long but not 2.5 hours

Given the distance, don’t risk it. Only do excursions offered by the ship.

2 1/2 hours there is 2 1/2 hours back. Paris, a great walk around city, is worth an add on or a come back. Our favorite city. Besides the tourist attractions, a MUST is Berthillon ice cream on Isle St Louie. The island behind Notra Dame
