Review summary

Beautiful cities. The crew was excellent. Food was amazing. Cruise ship is lacking on updates and the layout is horrible in cabins. Port times are constricted with means longer time on buses and less time exploring the cities. Shore excursions are lacking compared to pre-covid excursions.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Organized and went smoothly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was a lot better than their competitor. We used mostly the main dining and speciality resturants.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool was relaxing but I wish they had an indoor pool as well.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Musicians/DJs and personnal working on the ship were amazing. They had the best energy I seen on a cruise ship in a long time. The stage shows were ok. Magician was horrible. The Epic thearter is small so be prepared to get there atleast 30mins early. Burn the Floor was the highlight.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was excellent as normal.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
I did not like the layout of cabin with sink in middle of room. The shower and toliet out in the open was not ideal either. It was annoying that you could not get to all the of the ship with one set of elevators. The room was clean as the room stewards can make it but it is old ship and they need to spend money on redoing the carpet and replacing things like lighting in the cabin. I will not go on this ship again

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The bed was very short and both of feet hung off when slept. The room layout with the couch was bad. The bed was right next to the toliet with the nasty curtain touching.

Ship tip

Try another ship - wouldn't recommend.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

Cruise Strait Of Messina

3 out of 5
Not a port - just cruise ship passing through area

Santorini, Greece

3 out of 5
The tender and the cable car to get back to the cruise ship is horrible. If I stopped here again, I would not get off.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

5 out of 5
Wonderful excursion. Rich in history.

Mykonos, Greece

4 out of 5
Go early and try to see when not as busy. Very small city

Corfu, Greece

5 out of 5
Corfu is beautiful but I think the excursion (Past and Present) tried to fit too much in in a short time. More time at places and less time on the bus.

Valletta, Malta

4 out of 5
Beautiful city. Walked around city.

Messina, Sicily

3 out of 5
Went to Mt Edna with Norweign. Would not recommend unless you are at a closer port. It was not worth the 2 hr drive there and 2 hr drive back.

Naples, Italy

4 out of 5
Large city - like NYC. Lots to do around city as well

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

4 out of 5
Smaller city - walked around. Other people in group went to Florence(Easy Florence with Norweign) and only spent 1 hr in Florence. It takes 1.5 hrs to get to Florence and used most of their time at the leather factory.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Organized but wish the shuttles were lined us for us to take to airport
