About Naples, Italy

This southern Italian city isn’t for the faint of heart. Many cruisers head off to see Pompeii, Capri, or the Amalfi Coast. These are good choices, but you can also spend a memorable day in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius.

What people said about this port:

"Skip the boat excursion and hire a private tour for the Amalfi Coast." in 124 reviews.

"...were not able to see half of what we wanted...also the tour guide skipped some beautiful parts for lack of time I..." in 16 reviews.

"...in train station and took a private tour with him to a cameo factory and then on to Sorrento and back to the ship." in 8 reviews.

Went on our own, didn't book a tour. Bought Ferry tickets on our own to Capri. Tip. Buy round trip tickets on the ferry. you can pick a time to go back but use your tickets any time to go back. I highly recommend that you start back to the ship 3 to 4 hour prior to the ships departure. It takes 1 hour to go back on the ferry, and you never know.

Book an underground tour of Naples. You can look it up on Viator. It is one not to be missed...great history and the engineering is amazing!!!
