Maltings Whiskey Bar on Norwegian Epic

Great bar. Good music and Eric the bar tender was just how a crew member should be. Jolly, happy and helpful.

My favorite bar on any Norwegian shop is the Maltings Whiskey Bar. Initially, I thought I wasn't going to like this bar because it was right on the main thoroughfare on Deck 7 aft. The first day or two it was a mob scene, but as people settled into their routines, it took its rightful place as my favorite shop bar. The bartenders were great. They added a little flair to their mixology. There was a seating area and some large high-top tables. They also had live music each night. Aside from sitting at the bar, there were plenty of other comfort seats. There were at least two servers taking care of seating areas. We went to this bar every night as a starting point for nightly activities.

Favourite Bar for cocktails, open about 4.0pm. Got very busy, so get in first

They made very good drinks and were quick to get you a drink even when the bar was busy.

Best bar on the Epic. The bartenders here are funny, attentive and engaging.

A very nice bar however as a whiskey enthusiast I would have preferred some more varied whiskeys rather than most the standard bar fare. However again service with a smile and very friendly attitude so spent many evenings here and happy to recommend.

We sat and listened to music and played games in this area, perfect spot.
