Loved the ports. Not real excited about the Norwegian Epic by marykay567

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

I've been on many, many cruises, every year for many years other than during pandemic. I thought it would be great to be on the back of the ship to watch it. I don't know if it was just that cabin, or they are all this way, but the cabins seemed smaller than usual. You can't even get two people by at the same time between the bed and the countertop.

Relaxing Christmas Cruise by MrsBlackross

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

As much hate as Epic gets for the cabin bathrooms, we love it. Husband can do his business while I take a shower. Massive storage spaces in these cabins. Besides closets, there was space under the sofa, along the length of the ceiling, and an additional cabinet right by the balcony door. We were in an aft balcony, and the view is spectacular. The bed itself, though kinda short in length, had a very comfortable mattress. The pillows sucked but that's on me for not knowing I could request some firmer ones from the steward.

A good standard of NCL by pav12309

I suddenly realized why I did not like the EPIC - the interior of the cabin is weird, with no real bathroom. The aft-facing balcony is good as the back of the ship does not slope: this gives you plenty of privacy.

The Cruise Good the Pre Hotel Experience Was NOT! See End by jazzman61

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The Aft Balcony is only about the balcony which is a nice view, however you will have the least amount of storage on the ship. We did a cabin crawl and saw the other cabins. The beds ARE TOO short if you are 5' 10" or taller and you can pull the bed out in the aft balcony rooms as it would block egress. The lighting is terrible - an inside room has more light. You can't see to shave or wife needed a flashlight to put on makeup. The phone light flashed for 10 days in most cabins on the whole ship -- so it was annoying and they could not fix it!!!
