Freedom of the Seas Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony D3

Great attendant. Cabin quality not good. As stated earlier,bed outdated with a foam cover over old mattress. Toilet bowl discolored and seat repaired with caulk and stained. Showered soap holder basket broken. Drain backed up to overflow at each shower. Carpet and couch ancient.

Not as modern as some of the other ships. But, overall not bad. My only complaint is the glass dividers between balconies was a bit noisy on windy days.

Our cabin smelled so soo bad when we walked in after being in the room I had a headache. I did tell the staff and they sprayed another spray so the mixture of the two was worse. I opened the door and thank goodness had brought my own frebreeze and buy day 4 it was livable. Good we weren't in the room that much!! I asked for hangers on Sunday and never received them, we wanted some water for the fridge and never got that, asked for extra towels they never came. We asked for something to be added to the mattress of our bed as it was horrible to sleep on and my husband has a very bad back. Needless to say nothing ever happened with that either. We were traveling with 6 others who also had bed issues. I was on vacation and was not going to spend my whole trip chasing someone down to get these things done. I did ask more than once and after that I just tried to make the best of it and spend time with my people. Just very very disappointed!!!

Balcony stateroom is our favorite as it allows for a quiet space with a view for early morning coffee or uninterrupted reading

It was very comfortable, no issues.
