Always happy to spend time with family. Way too many people for the ship.

My favorite way to Disney! Loved having easy access to our stateroom and the attention to detail in all guest services and activities was fantiastic. by jbiby

We would cruise again with Disney! Pricier than other cruises, but plenty to do for kids and adults.

Priceless memories made by rissagatmaitan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream

It was the kids first cruise and they were so excited! I am glad I took them on a Disney cruise as they had a blast. As soon as we disembarked they already want me to book the next one but a longer one!

Plenty of Family Fun by tcmbondy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream

It’s a great option for families, particularly those with young kids. There were plenty of characters for the kids to meet every day. The special Marvel Day was great.

First Time Cruise on Disney Dream by getrohitjain

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream

Overall a good experience for a first time cruiser. I would definitely try some other cruise before coming to a conclusion about the offering from Disney. The biggest disappointing thing was the options of food for the vegetarians, which were very few to say the least. Castaway Cay Island was a good experience and I would like to do similar in the future as well. Overall satisfied with the whole package, though with the amount of money spent I would say in the end I was left wanting a little.

Magical Disney Cruise by Cruiser73332053

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Dream

It may be cliche to say our cruise was magical, but it truly was. The Disney touch was everywhere and it was a dream come true. From the moment you walk on the ship the entire crew makes you feel special. Everyone is personal, helpful and a delight to be around even though they all work so hard. There was always something to do, but also was just a wonderfully relaxing experience. We became friends with our two Dining staff that were with us each night and they truly were a highlight for our family. We can't wait to go again!

Chaos by Davetnr2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Dream

We will never do another Disney cruise. My daughter who was with us probably will since this was her fifth Disney cruise. It was our second and not nearly as good as the other one. Even my adult daughter who is a big Disney fan said she would go with us on Cunard where we are diamond members because it sound better to her than what we experienced on this cruise.

Adult focused Disney cruise, not great for kids by chicagofamily8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Dream

I wouldn’t recommended the Transatlantic for families with kids. The crowd seems to be primarily older adults and it is not a typical Disney cruise in the way entertainment etc. is structured because they are catering instead to the adult crowd. For example the kid friendly dining options close early and you can’t do those or cabanas for dinner. We had also planned to work during the cruise on the sea days, but the internet connection was so terrible that we were unable to work so that was extremely stressful. Even in the highest speed package ($36 a day) you couldn’t open a spreadsheet. Video calls were totally out of the question. The fitness center is in disrepair. On a 13 day cruise you would obviously like to work out or at least stretch, but there isn’t even space for that and even if you squeeze a mat in between machines, all of the yoga mats are falling apart. Having only until 4 or 4:30 didn’t feel like enough time to enjoy the various cities and you really have to plan to be back even earlier because you will be stressed about missing the ship. I won’t do another transatlantic and wouldn’t recommend it.

wonderful, magical by pdelmonico

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Dream

overall the trip was very nice. We enjoyed the food and the shows and other entertainment. We missed having a live band on the pool deck during the day like on other cruises, but they had a big screen in the main pool area for entertainment. We mostly stayed in the adult pool area where they had nice quiet music. We enjoyed playing mini golf and the Aquaduck water ride. During the day they had soft serve ice cream which everyone enjoyed.

Wonderful Cruise, Beautiful Weather by mindylangford

This cruise was fantastic! We booked an outside excursion (not through Disney) at the Bahamas that I would not recommend for children-Swimming with pigs Pearl Island. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Great in every way. Staff was outstanding; they went above and beyond for our unique dietary restrictions! The Beauty and the Beast show was magnificent. Food options were abundant and available.

Our First Disney Cruise! by jakeryan2013

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Western

If you’re looking for a super clean cruise with comfortable rooms, tasty food, tons of activities for kids and a phenomenal spa, the Disney Dream is your ship! If you’re like us and you crave a little adult fun after the kids pass out from an exciting day, you might be a little disappointed in the adult entertainment options. Overall, we truly enjoyed our cruise and would book again!

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Overall it was probably the best cruises we went on. All of us had a great time and plenty for everyone to do. The adult area was awesome. The kids had a blast and it’s been a week since we been off the boat and are begging me to book another. Well worth the price.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Beautiful cruise I was very impressed. There is always something to do even if you are not booking activities or excursions specially for all age groups. We will book another Disney cruise in the future.
