Likely will not cruise Carnival again by MartsTiff2007

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Vista / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Cabin size and arrangement was nice for two people. Our toilet kept getting plugged up and we were instructed to throw all toilet paper in the garbage can and not to flush. This is a disgusting request. Bed linens were soft and comfortable. Bed was made into a king bed; the center never really fit well together between the two twin beds. The balcony was amazing in size and position. Will never cruise without a balcony again. This balcony fits two standard chairs, small table, as well as a lounger. So nice to have the private outdoor space!

Relaxing Caribbean Cruise by ljperez11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Vista / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I felt a bit gipped with my stateroom as it didn’t have the sofa and coffee table due to the crew stairway directly next to the room - taking away from the stateroom’s square footage. It was difficult maneuvering past the foot of bed (to access the balcony and the restroom) as one had to walk sideways like a crab and my spouse kept hitting his shoulders on the TV. Totally was not worth it to pay extra for the so called “premium balcony” and stateroom. The balcony is only longer than a regular balcony and is not the ideal square shape commonly found at the aft of a ship. The stateroom is inadequate in size, space and design.

Very relaxing cruise by laurapturner

Loved my extended balcony!! There could have been more room to pass between the bed and wall especially with the television mounted on that wall but overall a great room.

Great cruise with wonderful destinations but not too impresses by the Carnival Vista though. by wzebrowsk1

Our cabin was 8461, last cabin on the starboard side of the ship. It was well laid out and kept very clean.

Horrible Service! by jpoulson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Vista / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Boat was great, however we were woken up at 4am each night of our cruise (except 1) with the sound of crashing dishes or dumpling/dragging silverware.  We complained to two people (including our room steward), they came up to investigate, couldn't discover where it was coming from.  Called the customer service multiple times, even at 4am when it happened, but since it only happened for a couple minutes each night they couldn't determine the cause either.  My wife's mother just passed away and we were trying to enjoy some relaxation time.  Instead, we got hardly any sleep, were groggy during the days and basically told that we were "lying" about noises by the service desk.  We paid extra for the nicer accomodations and were not offered any sort of comfort or compensation for the mess they would not fess up to.  Horrible experience.
