Review summary

The Sunshine is a dated, wornout ship, and it shows. We didn't use the pool areas due to them being very small and extremely crowded. Used glasses removal and wiped down tables was non-existent. Piano bar was fantastic, however the room was very small with only one bartender and one server. Loved the rock anthem show and comedy acts.

We only dined in main dining room & buffet on Lido deck. Both were very good.

The shows that we saw were awesome. The comedy acts were very funny.

Service and Staff

Our room steward was excellent. The waiters in the dining room we're wonderful. Bartenders in bars a bit understaffed. Took a long time to get drinks. Getting tables cleared and wiped down was very rare.

Ship Quality

We kept getting stuck on the third floor aft, which was always inconveniently closed off with no notice from the floor above. Old ship. Needs to be renovated big-time!

Room was sufficient. Definitely can use an overhaul. Ship is very dated.

Ship tip

I couldn't imagine sailing any later than in the season than we did in May. Our stateroomon never got got cool, which made it very uncomfortable. The common areas felt warm with no air circulating..
