Review summary

This cruise  had the best cruise director since Julie on the "Love Boat".  Mike made everything more fun!  I normally don't pay attention to the 'games' going on in the lobby, but after seeing the first ones, we chose to make sure we got to the lobby every time Mike was hosting something.

The only bad thing was the wi-Fi.  I paid for it and it was very poor - most of the time didn't work at all.  As you are trying to get on it is charging you. Best to not even consider using it.

I agree. Part of getting away is not to be constantly connected. Best cruise i had was on carnival spirit from hawaii. The ship lost phone and internet. While halfway back to mainland  my neighborhood has a bad hail storm. I did not know and attended a fantastic toga party with the ship band. It was only after the cruise i learned of the storm. The first message i read was "don't worry we boarded up your windows."  I would have worried the whole trip had i known.

I never use the Wi- Fi on board ships unless I get a great deal.  It is way too slow.  I wait until I get ashore.  I enjoy the Carnival ship, too.
