P&O select great entertainment. Go to the shows. See the acts.

If you want a sunbed and don’t find one by the pool, go higher up, there will be plenty

If you want a sunbed and don’t need to be at the side of the pool, go to a higher deck

Do it! One of the best holidays we have ever been on

Def a more British vibe

Good ship try and find your way around quickly. Keep getting forward and aft mixed up.(may be me getting older 😅)

If you want to eat at the extra pay restaurants, make sure you either pre book or book on embarkation day, We couldn't get into Sindhu or Epicurean as they were fully booked, Also the beach house only had 1 available slot left when we tried.

Speciality restaurants are good so try them. Port visits on this itinerary were a long way and you need to be very organised if not on a ship excursion.
alicepalace
I would not recommend this ship.

Expect to que at buffet
somersetmum
Book speciality restaurants in advance of sailing as places become limited.

You will have a great time
CruiserDave2024
As soon as you get on board book the Speciality restaurants because if you leave it Later you won't get in because people book and don't turn up Oh yeah and buy a drinks package in advance because then if you get OBS You can use that towards Short excursions or spr treatments

Madeira is on a Sunday prebook Toboggan’s with ship as closed to the general public

If you like a "very English" experience for a cruise, this will be for you. Staff very friendly on deck, but with only 2 or 3 kids onboard, the corny and loud daytime deck activities were a little off-putting. Some more pleasant, classical background music could suffice at times in place of UK top 40 assortments blasting through the restaurants and pool areas. I don't think we will be sailing P&O again but it was nice to get away and we were glad we tried it.

Book shows and speciality restaurants as soon as your board
ThaisP
The ship is very nice, but don't expect many activities for young people.

Landry is free to use. I would recommend taking your own washing tablets. Take a hilighter to mark things in the horizon you don't want to miss. Book early for the Theatre to avoid disappointment.

If you’re going peak summer and want to book speciality restaurants you literally have to do it as soon as you get onboard as you aren’t able to prebook before you go at the minute. We managed to get Sindhu but no luck with the beach house as we didn’t realise you book that as you never used to.

Try the restaurants, watch the ship going into a port for at least one morning! Get involved in the sail always
