It was my first cruise and I really loved the experience. My cabin was great, I enjoyed the food, the weather was perfect all week and the ports of call were quite pleasant.
Embarkation

Very smooth, easier than I was expecting (as a 1st time cruiser)
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Had breakfast and dinner daily at Peninsular Restaurant, which was really good, there were always several options and I enjoyed all my meals. Also loved the experience of sharing tables, got to meet many lovely people. Staff was great too.
For lunch, I would usually just have something by the pool, options were okay.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
My favourite was the sun deck, very spacious, lots of loungers and you had different areas to choose from: pool & sea screen, pool & music, pool & quiet area (adults only), terrace pool at the end of the ship. Second favourite was the silent disco that took place one night - I wish they had done more spaces/activities to dance similar to that (clubbing, sort of). Most of the shows and activities seemed to be more targeted to an older audience (which was most of the cruisers so it did make sense).
I liked the gym as well (which to be honest I only used once) as it was right on top at the front of the ship, so you had a great ocean view while using the equipments.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
They were good, but I didn't enjoy the shows as much. Like mentioned in a a previous comment, I felt the shows were more targeted to an older audience.
Service and Staff

All staff was friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I found it all very clean and enjoyed the layout of the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very comfy bed, great balcony, enough storage space. Downside (although this might be common in ships) is that there is only a couple of outlets, and the bathroom (the shower more specifically) may not be the most appropriate for tall/big people.
Ship tip
The ship is very nice, but don't expect many activities for young people.
Beautiful city but more expensive than I expected (perhaps because Game of Thrones?). There are lots of touristic things to visit in the old town but all are paid - it seems it's better to buy the Dubrovnik pass if you want to visit those, including the city walls. I only did the cable car and recommend it.
Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. Great itinerary. Appreciate your details. Perhaps you’ll find more activities for younger folks on a different cruise line. Glad you enjoyed your first cruise.
